Hearing Voices Self Help Group

The hearing voices group is a support group for people who hear voices. The group runs every Thursday between 4.00pm-6.00pm, members meet regularly to speak about their distress and coping techniques regarding the voices. The two facilitators work together to ensure the group provides members with a safe, secure place to openly discuss sensitive issues.

We currently have eight regular members; however there are over twenty registered members of the group. The group also supports members in improving their self-esteem and building facilitation skills. Group members also participate in the annual Hearing Voices Conferences as well as attending facilitation skills workshop for hearing voices. Beside also has a dedicated library specifically for hearing voices, for members who are interested in learning more about HV.
